ABOUT DR. JEFF E. WALKER
Jeff E. Walker was born and raised in the State of Illinois. He attended Central Bible College of the Assemblies of God and is a graduate of Rhema Bible Training Center. He earned a Bachelor of Arts degree from Western Illinois University, a Bachelor of Science in Psychology and Master of Arts in Professional Counseling degrees from Liberty University. He received Master of Divinity and Doctor of Ministry degrees from Oral Roberts University as well as a Doctor of Clinical Psychology degree from Trinity College of Graduate Studies which included an internship at the Betty Ford Center in Rancho Mirage, CA. He is a licensed psychologist in the State of California.
Dr. Walker holds ecclesiastical credentials with the Rhema Ministerial Association International. He serves on the Board of Directors of Dwight Thompson Ministries and served on the Board of Trustees of Oral Roberts' Charismatic Bible Ministries organization for 21 years.
Dr. Walker has been a Reserve Deputy Sheriff and departmental chaplain for the Riverside County Sheriff's Department since 1990. He also served as a member of the Desert Regional Mental Health Advisory Board from 1994 to 1995. In 2008, he was invited by the Christian Association for Psychological Studies (CAPS) to be a presenter at their World Conference. The topic of his lecture, which was attended by both health professionals and pastors, was "Mental Health and the Local Church."
Having received a call to ministry at eighteen years of age, Rev. Walker served two congregations in Associate Pastoral positions. He then felt led of the Lord to start a church in Palm Springs, CA in February of 1982. In 1985, the congregation embarked on its acquisition of eleven acres of land on Bob Hope Drive in Rancho Mirage, CA. The Victory campus is home to the church, the church offices, as well as Southern California Christian College (SCCC) which was established in 1985.
Rev. Walker, who has ministered extensively throughout the U.S. and abroad, resides in Rancho Mirage, CA.
