Psalm 100 says this:

   1 Make a joyful noise unto the LORD, all ye lands.
   2 Serve the LORD with gladness: come before His presence with singing.
   3 Know ye that the LORD He is God: it is He that hath made us, and not we ourselves; we are His people, and the sheep of His pasture.
   4 Enter into His gates with thanksgiving, and into His courts with praise: be thankful unto Him, and bless His name.
   5 For the LORD is good; His mercy is everlasting; and His truth endureth to all genenrations.

This psalm speaks directly to the heart of the department. We are a collection of ministries all dedicated to creating an atmosphere of Praise and Worship conducive to the move of the Spirit thereby allowing people to enter into another level of intimacy with God.

Ministries

VCC Music Ministry
The Music Department consists of the following components: Band, Front Line Singers, Choir and Special Music. The Band and Front Line Singers minister every service. The Choir ministers on Sunday mornings at the 9:00 and 11:00 services. Special Music is scheduled every Sunday morning and evening.

Drama/Dance Ministry
Our Drama Department presents four major productions per year: Easter, July 4th Celebration, Christmas and the Living Nativity (held at the River in Rancho Mirage, CA). Our Worship Dance Team ministers at special events and in seasonal productions and includes many styles from Hip Hop to Lyrical and Interpretive Dance.

Audio Ministry
This ministry includes all aspects of in service sound requirements as well as equipment care and maintenance. Responsibilities also include oversight of seasonal productions and special events.

PowerPoint Ministry
This team oversees the visual aspects of weekly services as well as special events by providing song lyrics and other vital information related to the ministry.

Media Duplication Ministry
This department captures, produces, and duplicates all messages recorded at VCC services. They act as liasion to the VCC Bookstore to make these recordings available to the public.
