Victory Christian Center--A Family Church

Victory Kids is our dynamic and comprehensive ministry to children. With specialized services, our children’s ministry offers a variety of ways for kids to grow spiritually. A clean and safe environment, caring teachers and an exciting, age appropriate presentation of the Gospel are the earmarks of Victory Christian Center’s ministry to our youngest members.

Lots of fun while learning and growing in Jesus is the goal of our committed children’s ministry team. Victory Kids aims are to teach children kingdom principles, stories of the Bible, and life skills that will propel them into a personal relationship with Christ.

The safety and security of our children is our first priority. All children’s ministry volunteers must pass background screening and complete an interview process before serving in ministry. Children must be checked in and out of all services by a parent or legal guardian.

Nursery
Newborn to 2 years. Our youngest at VCC are cared for with loving hands. The nursery is located just off the foyer in the sanctuary building.

Preschool
Age 3 through 4 years. Our preschool children have a fun, Word-centered service every time they gather together including worship, Bible stories, snacks, and arts and crafts.

Kindergarten through 5th Grade. These services include the components of our adult services including praise and worship, tithes/offerings, Bible teaching (including illustrated sermons and live skits), and individual ministry and prayer time. Special emphasis is placed on teaching Biblical principles that may be applied to everyday family living as well as developing a foundational understanding of the Old and New Testament. Story telling, Bible Q&A, puppets and snacks are also part of this dynamic service.

Each week kids will enjoy Bible teaching along with games, contests and activities.

Life Skills
Practical living skills for boys and girls are developed through teaching, activities and community service.

Victory Bucks Store
Each week, kids can earn Victory Bucks that can be redeemed the last Sunday of each month in our Victory Bucks Store. This incentive motivates children to develop good habits such as bringing their Bible and offering to church, inviting friends, as well as learning Bible memory verses and other lessons. The dollars add up quickly and allow children to shop for rewards as well as gifts for family members. Special event shopping is available for holidays such as Christmas and Mother’s/Father’s Day.
